• Louis "Lou" Hartigan - The pragmatic father who often finds himself at odds being the only man in a house full of women. He provides for his family as an Economist and stock broker. Melanie's constant playfulness, teasing and tendency to have a new "boyfriend" every day gets on his nerves, but he respects his eldest daughter's artistic talents.
  
• Rena Hartigan - The nurturing, housewife mother. She worries about her daughter's lifestyle choices and feels she is wasting her potential. Melanie's empathy and non judgemental nature comes from her mother.
  
• Ashley Hartigan - The second sister, she and Melanie used to be inseparable. A social butterfly, she joined her older sister and started a band with her in high school. She is a guitar virtuoso and sometimes a DJ.
  
• Amy Hartigan - The third sister, and the genious bookworm of the four. She has her father's pragmatism and hates her oldest sister for her slutty, frivolous nature, especially due to Melanie being attracted to the love of her life. This hatred is completely one sided, however.
  
• Mia Hartigan - The youngest sister. She is flamboyant, extravagant and outgoing, always displaying some form of fashion statement. She idolizes Melanie and inherited her father's talent for economics.
  

Personality

Personality & Behaviour: Melanie is gentle, empathetic and playful. She has a strong protective and maternal instinct from being the eldest of three sisters and always feeling the need to defend them. She is hypersexual and seductive, and her favorite targets are people who would otherwise want nothing to do with her; but regardless of whether or not she has a lover at any given point, her main concern is to have fun. Deep down, Melanie is an artist. She has a lovely singing voice and a talent for writing poetry and lyrics. She isn't a judgemental person, being fully aware of how much people normally judge her...

Strengths & Weaknesses:
Nonchalant - Melanie carries herself with a cool aura of nonchalance. She shrugs off all taunts and provocations with a smile, laughter, and often a witty comeback. She has a greater ability to stay cool under pressure than most people.
Empathetic - She has a strong sense of empathy and has a way to keenly relate to people. It's one of the reasons why she has so many friends, and a reason why she's so good at seducing.
High Intelligence - Melanie's intelligence is frequently underestimated, often enough by Melanie herself, mostly due to her laziness. But she's smarter than most people if she truly puts her head to work
Lustful - If she died and went to hell, lust would be the sin that did it. Finding herself staring a pretty boy or girl and nibbling her lip is frequent enough.
Unfaithful - She just cannot be faithful to her lovers. That has only happened twice in her life when she fell completely head over heels in love. That doesn't stop most of her lovers from wishing for that, however...
Lazy - Working just doesn't suit her...

History
Melanie was born to Lou and Rena Hartigan. Her father was a middle-high class stock broker and her mother a housewife, who provided her with a happy, comfortable childhood. As the eldest of three sisters, all her life she felt a powerful desire to protect them from all the evil in the world. This didn't mean she was liked by all of them, even if she loved them all more than anything, she knows at least one of them hated her guts. As a child, she enjoyed attention and as she grew older and ravishing, she started getting it more and more. People put labels on her, but she just shrugged them off and just kept doing what felt right. Her confidence and playful nonchalance rubbed many other kids the wrong way, while her endless lust rubbed many others the right way. To Melanie, her sexuality was always as much a tool as an amusement the moment she was old enough to see it as such. Aside from her own personal sourse of romance and entertainment, she used it to get back at kids who bullied her sisters by turning their love lives upside down, and considers the height of her accomplishments to be seducing her father's secretary to get back at him for something she doesn't even remember anymore...

When entering high school, she was the first among her sisters to become a cheerleader, and eventually head cheerleader, appealed by both the attention it gave her and the artistic aspect of it. That said, she delved into sports as well, practicing swimming and other forms of athleticism, as well as starting a band with one of her younger sisters and a few other friends. She was often at high school parties, bringing drinks, smokables and friends behind her, and had a way of becoming the life of the party wherever she went. Yet despite this tendency to dabble in a little bit of everything, she was always a bit of a lost girl.

More than anything, Melanie was lazy. She enjoys long hours at the beach, resting under the sun, and once it finally set she'd go out to some nightclub brimming with life and drunken people to party the night away. Though she's technically still a teenager, her mature body hides her comparatively immature lifestyle. She was a still a girl with a strong fixation on beauty, and always managed to find the right motivation to at least work out and keep herself in shape. Martial arts were her latest, and greatest passion. Despite having been taught some basic self defense in her younger years through Krav Maga, she began studying Kung Fu where she was introduced to the more spiritual, philosophical aspects of Martial arts which eventually transferred into her daily life: Yin and Yang. Balance, peace of mind... And it wasn't the only thing: It also awakened an ability she never imagined she'd posess. What would she do with it now? Hopefully not work, anything but that...

The job was easy enough, just the way Marise liked it. The boys were eager to please and give her attention, and the girls were a feast for the eyes more often than not. With the Summer slowly coming to an end, she intended to make the best of the gorgeous summer days she still had left, and prancing around in such a swimsuit was a perfect idea of fun. However, this impromptu cosplay had been troublesome enough to get ready on such short notice, and she didn't really feel like a simple shift working at the cafe was a good enough reward for her trouble. Why not do a little extra since she was already here? Asking around the other waitresses, she discovered there was yet another avaliable job: A photoshoot.

"Why not? A little souvenir to take home sounds lovely.", she thought out loud, looking at the photographer already taking pictures of some of the other cosplay models. There, she recognized a familiar face; a girl she'd seen around her school before, and eager to kill time chatting, she walked up to her and introduced herself, "Say, you go to Fiore Gakuen too, do you not? I'm Marise Vollan."

She would smile elegantly as she always did, giving her a playful wink. She was still in character; at least partially. She had most of the male clients believing she was anyways; her usual cool grace now had an alluring, seductive gaze, as expected of the vixen temptress she was dressed as...
